Trip Summary

This story is about a short trip that would normally be part of story about a longer journey. However, with a big adventure on either side of this mini-trip, I figured it might get lost among the larger travel stories. So, this becomes a short story, of its own, that got us from one adventure to another. Come along with our trio of motorcoaches as we find our way from the muddy plains of Kansas to the wide open spaces of the desert Southwest in New Mexico.

NOTE: On May 4, 2007 the small town of Greensburg, Kansas was destroyed by an F-5 tornado that ripped through town. Most landmarks are unreconizable, so what you see here is now historical.
