Our route to Redmond, Oregon

We’ve made three previous trips to FMCA conventions. This would be the fourth overall for Kay and I and our first convention in Oregon. What is fourth for us would be the first FMCA convention for two people in our party.

There were three RVs in our small caravan all of which were members of the Venture Outers RV Club. We all attended a club gathering at Coloma California arriving on Friday. We were scheduled to enter the FMCA convention on Monday morning, so we had to head out for Oregon very early Sunday morning.

We would meet up with two other RV club members in Redmond making our group a total of four couples with four motorhomes scattered around the fairgrounds. One RV would leave the convention a day earlier than the other three. The remaining trio of motorhomes consisted of two rigs from California following the third RV to its home in Salem.

I haven’t been able to devote time to writing the story of our trip. So, I thought I would do the next best thing. I’ve put together a photo album of our activities and fun times.
